Section 24(1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention) Act come talk sey:

(a) dey very offensive, pornographic or wey dey filthy, obscene or wey dey threatening character or dey cause any dat kind message or mata wey dem send; or
(b) the pesin know sey na false, but to cause annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred, ill will or needless anxiety to anoda pesin or come send such a message: don comit an offence under this Act and go dey liable on conviction to a fine wey no pass N7,000,000.00 or imprisonment wey no pass 3 years or make the pesin collect the fine and imprisonment togeda.
Section 24 (2) talk sey: Any pesin wey knowingly or intentionally come send a message or oda mata tru computer systems or network –
(a) to bully, threaten or harass anoda pesin, where such communication com place anoda pesin for fear of death, violence or bodily harm or to anoda pesin;
b) wey contain any threat to kidnap pesin or any threat to harm anoda pesin, demand or request for a ransom for the release pesin wey dem kidnap, to extort money or any thing wey get value from any pesin, firm, association or corporation; or
(c) wey contain any threat to harm the property or reputation of the pesin or anoda pesin or the reputation wey pesin wey don die get or any threat to accuse the pesin wey dem dey target or anoda pesin for crime, to extort money or any ting wey get value from any pesin, firm, association, or corporation don comit offence under this Act and the pesin go dey liable on conviction-
(i) for case wey fall unda paragraphs (a) and (b) of this subsection na imprisonment for a term of 10 years and/or a minimum fine of N25,000,000.00; and
(ii) for case wey fall unda paragraph (c) for this subsection, na imprisonment for a term of 5 years and/or a minimum fine of N15,000,000.00.
As Section 24 (3) talk am, court fit also make an order, to dey protect the victim or victims of the offence, or any pesin mentioned in the order, make in no dey do anything wey fit intimidate the victim.

Sexual abuse and exploitation of a child na form of child sexual abuse wey pesin(s) of any age dey take advantage of power wey dey imbalance to force or entice a child into engaging in sexual activity in return for something wey the child receive and/or pesin wey de perpetrate or facilitate the abuse.

Section 222 of the Criminal Code talks sey any pesin who unlawfully and indecently deas with a girl wey dey below 16 years don dey guilty of a misdemeanor and go dey liable to a punishment of 2years imprisonment, with or without caning. If the girl come dey under the age of 13years, he dey guilty of felony and go dey liable to an imprisonment wey reach 3years, with or without caning.

If pesin come attempt to perform FGM or dey engage anoda to perform FGM, dat one carry punishment of imprisonment wey no pass 2 years or to pay fine wey no pass 100,000.00 Naira (US$277.309), or make e go prison and pay fine join.
Anybody wey come incite, aid, abet, or advise anoda pesin make e perform FGM or engage anoda to perform FGM dey liable on conviction to imprisonment wey no pass two years or to a fine wey no pass 100,000.00 Naira (US$277.3010), or make e go prison and pay fine join.
Some States don set dia own punishment for pipo wey go do FGM. For example:
For Cross Rivers state – The Girl-Child Marriages and Female Circumcision (Prohibition) Law (2000), Section 4 talk sey anybody wey go perform FGM, or the female go offer herself for FGM, or pesin com coerce, entice or induce anoda to do FGM or allow any female wey be daughter or ward to go do FGM go dey liable on conviction to a fine wey no less pass 10,000 Naira (US$27.7011) or go prison wey no pass two years for a first offender (and go prison wey no pass three years with no option of fine for pesin wey do dey commit the offence more dan once).
For Ebonyi state, na five-year prison sentence for anybody wey carries out FGM.
For Edo state – The Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation Law (1999) talk sey the punishment for pesin wey go perform FGM na imprisonment wey no dey below three years or a fine wey no dey below 3,000 Naira(US$8.3012) or make e go prison and pay fine join.
For Rivers state – The Child Rights Act (2009), Section 25 talk sey pesin wey directly or indirectly cause a female child to be subjected to FGM go dey liable on conviction to a fine not wey no pass 50,000 Naira (US$138.6014) or imprisonment for one year, or make e go prison and pay fine joins.
Anoda:
Punishments don dey for medical malpractice unda the Medical Act (2004), Section 16(2) talk sey dem go remove medical practitioner wey be Doctor, Nurse dem from register and dem no go allo dem practice for a period wey no pass six months if dem go do FGM.
A pesin wey comit an offence by the removal of tissue as dem talk am unda the National Health Act 2014 na im dem go punish under Section 48(3)(a) with a fine of 1,000,000 Naira (US$2,77315) or imprisonment wey no dey below 2 years, or make e go prison and pay fine join.

Harmful widowhood practices na various rites and practices which dem dey make woman wey lose im husband go tru either before, during or after the funeral rites of her husband wey don die. These practices dey difrent from one culture to anoda. Some of these practices include make dem dey mourn, shave women hair, make am compulsory to stay inside for long period of time, to dey wear black dresses, drinking of water wey dem use to wash the body of husband wey don die, to dey waka with bare foot etc.
